At the American History Museum they have a wall were you can draw super heroes!
Since we had just come from a John Green singing we drew John, and his side kick.

GUYS!
I’m wearing this shirt that I’ve had since I was five, and some yellow pants with roses on them to the National Book Festival,
So if you see someone in a threadbare, paint splattered Great Quillow shirt and yellow pants (particularly if they’re near the Louis Lowry or John Green tent) shout “THE BLUE MONKEY ATE THE CAMERA!” or something random and I’ll act like my normal awkward self, but I’ll give you a high-five.
(Also, I’ll be wearing those shoes and maybe the sweater you see in the corner.)
The three pices of media that have made me cry. Not almost cry, not really really want to cry, like ‘I’m glad I’m not in front of anyone right now, because I am actually crying. Maybe I should go curl up in a ball and never move ever again.’:

It sounds better the other way around, but their facial expressions are better this way.
…but just give me four minutes!
And then he goes on to be interesting and teach you things about Syria, so you should really watch it.
Seriously, do watch the video, but guys: Do my eyes always look that crazy?
Only when you’re talking about homoerotic Sherlock watercolors.

In honor of that whole Valentine’s thing…
Augustus Waters and Hazel Grace Lancaster from The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.
Finally got my copy after having sent it too the wrong address (blast!) and read it this week. Such terribly lovable characters and beautiful writing. Thank you Mr. Green.

The only thing I don’t like about Looking for Alaska (besides, well if you’ve read it you’ll know, but without that there would be no story):
It’s impossible not to smudge the cover.
